The endowed chair program provides support for faculty positions for active, effective research scientists who will advance basic scientific research in chemistry and other allied sciences in Texas.
To be considered for an endowed chair, a Texas educational institution must have a Ph.D. program in chemistry. Historically, the institution must be willing to match the endowment funds dollar for dollar.
Applications must be submitted by the last business day of January to be considered for the next grant year. The official online application on proposalCENTRAL must be used.
The current Endowed Chairs list as of December 31, 2016 is now available below.
